The Stadium of Bergamo, currently known as the Gewiss Stadium, has a rich and storied history. Built in 1928 under the name Brumana, the stadium has been a witness to countless historic moments in Italian football. Initially named after the surrounding district, the stadium was renamed Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia in 1935 to honor the Italian national team's victory in the 1934 FIFA World Cup. The stadium has also been known as the Stadio di Bergamo in UEFA competitions and Gewiss Stadium since 2019 due to sponsorship reasons.
